For those of you who love colour, Urban Decay have some amazing bold lip shades available. For those that are not massive lovers of summer pink, coral and nude shades, and want vibrant vixen or unicorn lips, these might just make you jump for joy!
Urban Decay Vintage Vice Lipsticks
I liked the Vice range from UD, and they recently added to them in celebration of their 20th anniversary. They brought back 9 of their old school shades, and there are some bold and snazzy lipsticks to be had. The Vintage capsule collection retail at £15 each on the UD site, which have sold super fast, although you can find them at other online beauty sites.
I have 3 shades here to share with you.
Below, shades and formulas L – R : ‘Pallor‘ ~ cream, ‘UV-B‘ ~ cream, ‘Bruise‘ ~ sheer.
Above, shades swatched L – R : UV-B, Pallor, Bruise. These have great colour pay off, and they are soft and hydrating on the lips due to their buttery formula. The lilac and blue shades are ideal for rainbow colour Unicorn fans.
Below, using Pallor (also pictured above), with barely there makeup. I actually quite like this, it suits my skin tone better than the blue shade, although they can be mixed.
Below, wearing Bruise, but used as a stain over a balm. Having thin lips, a darker colour will make them appear smaller, so by patting a little of the colour on to the lips with a fingertip, it is more wearable than swiping on the bullet.
Urban Decay ~ The Ultimate Pair ‘Blackmail’
For you vamps and sirens out there that love a deep red or wine look, this black cherry coloured lip set is probably as dark and sultry as you could get.
The 24/7 glide-on lip pencil will prime and define the lip line, helping your lip look to last longer. The Vice lipstick is long-lasting, yet packed with nourishing ingredients of Jojoba, Avocado, Aloe vera, and Babassu oils. Price for The Ultimate Pair lip set is £22.
Above, swatched Blackmail pencil and bullet, a perfect match for those who can take a truly dark lippy.
I can’t wear this dark shade of Blackmail, well, maybe for a Halloween look, but if you can carry off a really dark shade, this might just be an ideal set for your makeup bag.
If your love your lip shades bold, and formulas that nourish the lips not dry them, these should tick your little lipstick boxes. They seem to sell out quick, but check out Urban Decay, Feel Unique and House of Frazer to hunt them down.
