Urban Veda – Radiance Body Set – £29.95

I had not used this award winning natural brand before, but I have recently enjoyed the Turmeric & botanics set I was kindly sent as a sample. Urban Veda use Ayurvedic herbs, flowers and fruits, plus multi-vitamins and clinically proven actives, to treat in a holistic way. The Radiance range contains botanical extracts of Liquorice, Papaya, Goji berry, plus actives of Glycerine, Turmeric, Arjuna, Pumice, Pomegranate seed powder, Vitamin E, along with oils of Orange, Patchouli, Coriander, Cedar, Marigold, Sweet Almond.

No wonder these smell amazing!

I am a fan of Ayurvedic products, and these have lovely textures and aromas to refresh and revive, so I enjoy the ritual of using these in the bathroom. I have to say the Body Polish is definitely a fave. Urban Veda offer 4 different product ranges : Radiance, Purifying, Reviving and Soothing.

Crabtree & Evelyn (New) – Goat Milk & Oat  Shower Milk, Hand Therapy + Pomegranate & Argan Oil Soap – Shower Milk £16 for 250ml, Hand Therapy £23 for 250ml, Soap £7.50 for 158gm.

Some lovely new scent collections were recently added to the ever popular Crabtree & Evelyn range, and I have a few products to share with you from 2 of the ranges.

Goat Milk & Oat, which is made with free-range Goat milk, Oat kernel oil, Bisabolol, Allantoin and Vitamin E. Clinically and dermatologist tested, this range is particularly suited to sensitive and irritated skins.

Pomegranate & Argan oil, is a blend of Moroccan Argan Oil, Grapeseed Oil and Shea Butter to moisturise, and with notes of Orange, Pomegranate, Sweet Fig, Ginger and Black Pepper that produce a wonderfully warming, bright mediterranean scent.

I am a bit of a hand cream addict, and like using this Hand Therapy. Although quite rich in consistency it simply melts into the skin, and any ‘slip’ disappears after about a minute. Hands are left soft and hydrated, and although it needs to be reapplied after hand washing, the ingredients are gentle and will not irritate super sensitive skins. I find the large pump dispenser is handy to keep by the kitchen sink, as I am forever washing my hands, but it would also make a handy gift for a downstairs toilet.

The Shower Milk is also delicate, providing a soft lather with really tiny bubbles. It soothes and calms any irritated or sensitive skin, and after showering, skin is left really soft and nourished. The scent is subtle and creamy, making it a pleasure to use, and I hardly feel a need for a body moisturiser after using. Anyone with even the most delicate of skins would love this, as it is so gentle and cosseting.

These castile soaps are triple milled, and produce a gentle, non-drying, creamy lather that helps keep hands soft, plus delicately scented. There are 5 new scent blends to choose from, out of their wide range of soaps. This one has a beautiful scent, ideal to use on a cold day to warm and lift the spirits, whilst caring for the skin.

Head over to bath & body on the Crabtree & Evelyn site to find these and more from the ranges.

I feel any of these would make great little Christmas gifts or stocking fillers, certainly for those that love nurturing, scented body products. I hope these might help tick off some of the presents on your list, and that whoever receives them, enjoys using them as much as I do.

Which of these products tick boxes for gifting family or friends, and which of them would you like to find under the tree on Christmas day?
