As we go into the bright, sunny months, warm summery lipsticks with moisturising formulas, are pretty much must haves in our makeup stash. Japanese skincare brand DHC, also have some fab lippies, and I am excited to share these fresh, juicy and moisturising shades with you.
Can we just take a moment to admire how pretty the packaging of these lipsticks is?! The metal cases of both formulas are engraved with pretty little flowers and butterflies. Definitely aesthetically pleasing, these contain 2 different lipstick bullet formulas. I am enjoying using these, and they are ideal for juicy spring/summer lip looks.
DHC cruelty free info : “DHC UK never tests its products on animals or asks others to do so on its behalf. Also, DHC Corporation of Japan, our parent and the founding company of DHC, never tests its products on animals or asks other to do so on its behalf. However, DHC is now a global brand with related companies in countries all over the world, including China, which still requires animal testing by law. As a result, the DHC affiliate operating in China is required to perform a certain amount of animal testing on some of the products offered in that country to comply with local laws. DHC Corporation and its affiliates strongly disagree with China’s position on animal testing and support the international efforts to convince China that animal-free alternative testing methods are available to ensure safe products.”

These are super moisturising and look juicy in the sunlight, I would say these satin formulas are similar to MAC ‘Huggable” lip colours. The shades are true to colour, feel comfortable on the lips without being sticky or gloopy, and they last really well.

Below ~ shades from left to right : Sweetpea (PK04) and Clementine (OR03). These are moisture rich with a juicy hint of colour, and i would say the formulas are similar to YSL Volupté Sheer Candy lip balms.
I’m currently now drooling after shades Whisper Pink & Hint of Honey, from the Moisture Care lipsticks, and First Blush from the Premium Lipsticks. These are really impressive lipsticks, with excellent packaging, great formulations, pretty shades, lasting ability and affordability. I really can’t see what is not to love about them. Well done DHC!
