Klorane Flax Fibre Hair Boosters

If you get fed up with hair being fine and lacking in volume, Klorane have a range of botanical hair boosters to help, without the heaviness. Their Flax Fibre products give hair a softness with long-lasting volume and shine.

The Klorane Institute focuses on protecting biodiversity, and use safe and effective plant ingredients in their products. Their main focus is hair care, creating products to suit all different hair types and scalp issues. Their website provides plenty of information on each plant formulation, explaining the characteristics and benefits, plus why they use each particular one. Really informative, if you are a botanicals fan like me.

Klorane Volumising Shampoo

This biodegradable and lightweight formula shampoo, helps lift hair from the roots allowing volume, and as it is silicone free, there is no heaviness. It is enriched with Flax Fibre produced in France, and is high in fatty acids, so not only boosts hair, but provides vitality, bounce and shine.

Ingredients : Water(Aqua), Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Ceteareth-60 Myristyl Glycol, Sodium Laureth-8 Sulfate, Blue 1 (Ci 42090), Citric Acid, Ext,Violet 2 (Ci 60730), Fragrance (Parfum), Limonene, Linum Usitatissimum (Linseed) Seed Extract (Linum Usitatissimum Seed Extract), Magnesium Laureth Sulfate, Magnesium Laureth-8 Sulfate, Magnesium Oleth Sulfate, Phenoxyethanol, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Benzoate, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Oleth Sulfate, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate.

Silicone-free, paraben-free, SLS-free, hypoallergenic, biodegradable.

I find this cleanses, and gives my fine a hair a boost, but without feeling too heavy. Due to its liquid texture, so you don’t need to use much, making it economical. It has pretty floral botanical fragrance, and leaves my hair clean but not heavy like some volumising shampoos, and helps boost shine and movement. A good hair cleanser for those of you with fine hair, but don’t want to add bulk.

Klorane Volumising Conditioner

Again containing Flax Fibre, this does not have the consistency you would normally expect from a conditioner. It has liquid texture, making it light on fine hair, yet boosts volume.

Ingredients : Water (Aqua), Vinegar (Acetum), Inulin, PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil, hydroxypropyl guarhydroxypropyltrimonium chloride, Ceteareth-33, Cetearyl alcohol, Cetrimonium chloride, Fragrance (Parfum), Hydroxyethylcellulose, Limonene, Linum Usitatissimum (Linseed) Seed Extract (Linum Usitatissimum Seed Extract), Phenoxyethanol, Potassium sorbate, Propylene glycol, Sclerotium gum.

This helps detangle hair whilst boosting the volume, not massively but enough. Again, I find it really lightweight like the shampoo, plus it has a lovely aroma and leaves hair feeling nourished and shiny.

These give my hair a bit more volume, but is not left feeling heavy after use, just soft and shiny. Botanical products that do the job and are affordable at the same time, good for those with fine hair that need a boost without the weight.

These sound really great for fine hair. :D I’ll have to let my mum know about these because her hair is really fine and could definitely do with the volume.

It’s also another brand I’d not heard of before. My hair has definitely thinned out as I’ve gotten older but it’s still incredibly thick thankfully, as it was ridiculously thick to begin with. My hair was that heavy, then perms were in, the weight of my hair would just stretch the perm out lol
