Botanicals Revitalising Mask

I’m becoming a real fan of this range of skincare and was happy to try out one of their treatments for dry/sensitive skin. Here’s the low down on Botanicals Revitalising Mask with Rose clay and Rosehip, it’s skin food thats just fab for the winter months.

Botanicals Revitalising Mask – Rose Clay & Rosehip

This particular mask from Botanicals range is suitable for dry, mature and sensitive skin types, so ideal for my skin. It is hand made in rural England, containing 70% certified organic ingredients and 100% natural.

*There is a Green Clay Mask available for oily/combination skins too.

Ingredients : Helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil*, butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter*, kaolin, glycerine***, cetyl alcohol, cetearyl alcohol, rosa canina fruit oil*, simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil*, ricinus communis seed oil*, decyl glucoside, camellia sinensis flower extract*, parfum*, rosa centifloia (rose) flower oil*, pelargonium graveolens (rose geranium) flower oil*, lavandula angustifolia (lavender) flower oil*, cymbopogon martinii flower oil*, cananga odorata flower oil*, tocopherol, geraniol**, citronellol**, linalool**, limonene**, citral**. (*Certified organic. **Natural constituents of essential oils. ***Organic origin.)

No parabens, sulphates or controversial ingredients used, all produced from sustainable sources.

As you can see from the above image, it has a slight colour due to the organic Rose Clay. This is not a thick, setting clay mask, more like a balm with a very delicate aroma and lovely texture. I recommend using 1-2 times a week if you have drier skin, after gentle exfoliation or a double deep cleanse.

To use : I leave my face damp after cleansing then, take a 10p size amount (a small amount being concentrated), of the balm textured mask and apply to the face in gentle massage movements. Leave for around 10 minutes and then remove with a damp warm facecloth, which you may need to put in the wash after use due to the colour from the mask. Skin is left hydrated and fresh.

As you can see from the above image, I look like I have a slight tan after applying the mask so, just remember if you use it and have it on when you answer the door to the Postie. (Although not as scary as when wearing a sheet mask!)

The beautiful oils combined with the Shea butter leave the skin soft, fresh, hydrated and bright. The below image was after using the mask, wearing moisturiser, primer and Vitalumiere Aqua foundation with a little cream blush. My skin looked radiant and felt hydrated all day whilst heading out into the chilly winds.

You can purchase the Botanicals Revitalising Mask with Rose Clay and Rosehip, at £19.95 for 60ml size here.
